Today, representatives of Caesar’s Virginia revealed their architectural renderings for the coming casino in Danville, Virginia. The Mayor of Danville also spoke, along with State Senator Danny Marshall. The company expects to have final permitting done in November to break ground in December, with a grand opening slated for the second half of 2023, probably by the end of that year. A lot of anticipation is building for that date, but here are some shots of several of the rendering slides shown today, along with a video of today’s meeting thanks to River City TV.
One thing to note – the original design was for 300 rooms. This has been expanded to 500 rooms and one of the Caesar’s representatives today said that they consider this to be stage one and have left room for further expansion after the casino opens.

Caesars Entertainment shared official renderings today for Caesars Virginia, its $500 million resort expected to break ground by the end of the year in Danville. Following incredible support by the voters of Danville last November, Caesars Entertainment has been hard at work developing plans for Caesars Virginia, which will include 500 hotel rooms, a state-of-the-art casino floor, Caesars Sportsbook, World Series of Poker Room, new restaurant and entertainment offerings, and much more.
