In this discussion I talked with Carmine Savastano who runs the website tpaak.com about the life and times of the young Allen Dulles.
Allen Dulles started out with the help of his uncle Robert Lansing who was Secretary of State during World War II for Woodrow Wilson in Paris during the peace talks in the State Department. Then went to on with the help of his brother to become a Wall Street Sullivan and Cromwell lawyer. But as World War II began he went into the OSS and then became a big figure in Republican Party foreign policy lobbying once the war ended before becoming the famous CIA director.
