A Reader Speaks Out On My New Book – Mike Swanson (02/11/2021)

Just two weeks ago I released my new book Why The Vietnam War?, which is a sequel to my well reviewed book The War State. It takes time for a book to get as many reviews as The War State has gotten over the years, but now a few reviews for my new book have been posted on Amazon.com.

Here is the most recent review:

Do you think you know the reasons and details behind the Vietnam War? Author Michael Swanson is about to prove you wrong. In his latest book, Why The Vietnam War?: Nuclear Bombs and Nation Building in Southeast Asia, 1945-1961, the author takes you behind the scenes to see how deeply entrenched in the war we really were, and how what is portrayed by the public news media is often not the real deal. Swanson details exactly how and why the United States ended up in conflict with Southeast Asia, and what was actually going on in Washington’s political scene at the time.

You don’t need to be a history buff or a scholar to enjoy this book, as Swanson’s writing style draws the reader in and does not over-complicate any explanations. The wording is not technical or difficult, and the story is told in such a way that it is both educational and entertaining, Swanson knows his stuff about the Vietnam War, and that is pleasantly evident.

If you are looking for a great informative and eye-opening read, this book is an excellent choice! You will find yourself not wanting to put it down, and you will emerge much more informed about the Vietnam War, with both a changed viewpoint and a clear understanding of the intricacies that went on behind closed doors.

If you have bought the book and read it please post your own review! It helps to sell books when they get more reviews as some readers need to see many reviews before they will buy anything.

And if you haven’t gotten your copy of the book yet you can grab it on Amazon by clicking here.
