The Financial Markets Are Not Normal (Don’t Be Fooled) – Mike Swanson (10/29/2019)

The stock market has managed to have a nice rally this month and this week the Federal Reserve is set to lower interest rates again in order to keep this stock market going.

It’s easy to get caught up and mesmerized by 48-hour news cycle, and the day to day stock market action with years of near zero interest rates, QE, and negative rates in some government bond markets that have trained all of us to think that this environment is normal and will go on forever.

But it is all really an odd time – not until this decade has ever in human history there been negative interest rates.

Like this video so that I know that you are here.

Where would the markets be without these negative rates and where will they be when they come to an end?

Something to think about…
