Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs R. Clarke Cooper testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the Trump administration’s decision to invoke an emergency arms deal with Saudi Arabia last week on Wednesday. Several Democrats on the committee, including Chair Eliot Engel (D-NY) accused the administration of creating a “phony” crisis to circumvent congressional authority.

Selling arms to Saudi Arabia is an “America last” foreign policy, but it is indeed a favorite “deep state” style oil game.
