President Trump sent out a red-hot Tweet last night threatening Iran with destruction if it does not stop threatening the US over US threats to change the Iranian regime. Round and round it goes, with the well-funded neocon think tanks pushing ever-harder for a US attack. Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is extremely close to one of the most bellicose of these, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, which is staffed by many of the same people who gave us the disastrous 2003 war on Iraq.
